Reaching Monopoli

By Air

Monopoli is conveniently located between two international airports.

Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport (BRI) is approximately 60 km away and can be reached in around 45–60 minutes by car. Direct train connections are also available via Bari Centrale railway station.

Brindisi Salento Airport (BDS) is approximately 70 km away and can be reached in about one hour by car. Train connections are available via Brindisi railway station.

Both airports are served by major international and low-cost airlines, offering direct flights from many European cities.

By Train

Monopoli lies on the main Adriatic railway line connecting Bologna, Ancona, Bari, Lecce and other major Italian cities.

The railway station is approximately a 10-minute walk from the historic centre and can also be reached easily by taxi.

By Car

Monopoli is easily accessible via the SS16 Adriatica, which connects Bari, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Fasano and Brindisi.

If you're travelling from northern Italy, follow the A14 motorway towards Bari and continue south on the SS16.

If you're arriving from southern Puglia, simply follow the SS16 north towards Monopoli.

Reaching La Casa al Mare

La Casa al Mare is located in the heart of Monopoli's historic centre.

As most of the old town is pedestrian, the final part of your journey is completed on foot. Several public parking areas are available within a short walking distance of the apartment.

Once you've arrived, you'll discover that a car is no longer necessary. The harbour, beaches, restaurants, cafés, local shops and the city's most beautiful corners are all just a few minutes away on foot.
